Programs include a poetry reading, lectures, community discussions, a October author visit and talk by Solnit, and a juried art show featuring interpretations of the theme, “Searching for Democracy.” Students, families and people from all walks-of-life will explore what discoveries and lessons about democracy lie in works of fiction and nonfiction, provocative cultural exhibits and public conversations.
