It's Snowing! Library Offers Modified Services.

Above is a picture of downtown Ukiah.

It's snowing. It's beautiful but the library is changing schedules today. The bookmobile will not be going out to its stops so visits to Navarro, Comptche, Floodgate, Philo and Boonville are canceled.

Willits Library will close early at 6 pm. The rest of the libraries will be open at the usual schedules.

Road Cams of Mendocino County can be found here and the severe weather alert for today is here.

UPDATE: 11:27 pm. The Round Valley Library may be closing at 1 pm due to severe weather.

In Memoriam

Just lost, when I was saved!

Just felt the world go by!

Just girt me for the onset with Eternity

When breath blew back

And on the other side

I heard recede the disappointed tide

Therefore, as One returned, I feel

Odd secrets of the line to tell!

Some Sailor, skirting foreign shores-

Some pale Reporter, from the awful doors

Before the Seal!

Next time, to stay!

Nest time, the things to see

By Ear unheard,

Unscrutinized by Eye

Next time, to tarry,

While the Ages steal

Slow tramp the centuries

And the Cycles wheel!

Emily Dickinson
