December Quilt at the Ukiah Library

For December, Marilyn Simpson and the Mendocino Quilt Artists have chosen, the "String-pieced Star". Another quilt from their 2001 block a month project. At the end of the year, each member was given a set of blocks from which to create a quilt.

Marilyn Simpson chose the String-pieced Star blocks for their vibrant colors and exciting movement and created a wonderful quilt. Please come visit the Ukiah Library to view this cheerful winter quilt.

Winter Holidays at the Mendocino County Libraries

The Mendocino County Libraries will be closed the following dates over the Holidays.
Saturday, Sunday & Monday, the 24th, 25th & 26th of December and the following
Saturday, Sunday & Monday, the 31st of December 2005 and the 1st & 2nd of January, 2006.

The Bookmobile will be off the road December 26th through December 31st.
